The Whaling Station Bed & Breakfast is located within the secure Goose Valley Golf Estate on 7 acres of pristine waterfront property. Within walking distance of the lagoon and river, with breathtaking views over the lagoon, bay and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. Facilities at The Whaling Station include pool, deck and thatched lapa to enjoy the views and beautiful Plettenberg Bay weather. The Whaling Station estate extends down to the Keurbooms Lagoon, where canoes are available to guests. A short canoe trip across the lagoon is one of Plett's most exclusive beaches — 7km of white sandy beach. For golfers, the Gary Player designed, Goose Valley Golf Course is 500m from the Whaling Station. The Whaling Station offers 5 family suites, 4 of those leading onto patios with sweeping views of the ocean and mountains and a 5th rondavel with equally lovely views . The suites comprise of a main bedroom with king size bed, and a second bedroom with twin beds and a full bathroom. 2 of the 3 twin rooms offer the same lovely views, king size or single bed options and en suite bathroom. Guests can also relax or watch television in our cosy lounge, enjoy breakfast on the covered veranda or breakfast room, soak up the sun at our infinity pool or enjoy a sundowner under the thatched lapa – all designed to showcase the breathtaking natural surroundings and views at The Whaling Station.
