ISLAND DINER AT THE BEACON ISLAND TIMESHARE RESORT

The Island Diner, the business which owns and manages the restaurants and bars within the Beacon Island Timeshare Resort is co-owned by Lloyd Pienaar and Jorge Pires two ex-Joburgers with 30 years restaurant experience between them.
Located in the lobby of the Resort, Café Estoril, where you can relax and have breakfasts, sushi, grilled sandwiches, salads, cakes and coffee and evening café cooking including Italian Trattoria specialities, grills and seafood. Live music is also on the menu most evenings. Café Estoril is open from 08h00 to 22h00 every day.
Indigo Bay is a seafood and grill house restaurant which opens from 18h00 to 22h00. The chef’s specialities include LM Chicken, Karoo Lamb Chops and not to be missed, the famous Indigo Bay platters, renowned for their size and variety of foods and flavours.
Coral Reef is our cosy, intimate 45-seater restaurant with magnificent views over the rocks and sea and offers the best in fine dining. Recommendations from the menu include slow-cooked Lamb Shank, Line Fish Plaka and Balsamic Fillet Steak. Coral Reef is open from 19h00 to 22h00 Tuesday’s to Sunday.
The Playa Cocktail Sea Lounge is perched on the edge of the rocks overlooking the crashing waves. The perfect location for mid-morning coffee, pre-lunch drinks, afternoon teas and then onto pre-dinner drinks and after dinner liqueurs.
Boring is not accepted as part of the Island Diner Credo and Jorge and Lloyd are excited about their latest idea, Around the World in Seven Plates. Each night at all restaurants the chef’s will provide diners with a culinary speciality from various countries.
We also do private functions, birthday parties, weddings, and any social event you may wish to have.
